Data You Give Us Directly
Search Queries
A name or case number entered in a search tool is sent directly to the outside provider operating that tool. The provider processes the query and supplies its results. Presidio County Court Docket does not retain or log those search terms on its own systems.
Messages and Contact Submissions
Email messages are retained as needed to prepare and send a response. They remain within the organization unless disclosure is required by a valid legal obligation.
Data We Gather Automatically
Loading a page can cause the servers to receive basic technical and usage details, including:
- The IP address assigned to your device
- Which browser you are using and its version
- Your device type and operating system
- The pages you visited and how long you stayed on each
- The site that sent you here, if any
- Timestamps for each page view
Cookies and Analytics
Cookies are small device files used to understand traffic patterns, such as popular pages and common exit points. Analytics providers combine that activity into reports. Browser controls can block cookies, although doing so may change how some features behave.
What We Do With This Data
- Keeping the site up, running, and loading quickly
- Sending your search requests to the right partner service
- Figuring out which pages people find useful and which need work
- Tracking down and fixing technical issues
- Showing ads that may line up with your interests
No Court-Record Data on File
No database of official court dockets or personal case-record information is hosted, maintained, compiled, or sold here. The published material identifies where Presidio County records are kept and how to approach the District Clerk, County Clerk, other local courts, or re:SearchTX. Visitor information is not assembled into consumer reports or third-party profiles, and the website is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act.
Third-Party Search Partners
Outside companies operate the search boxes. Information submitted through a tool is governed by that provider's privacy policy, retention rules, and sharing practices rather than this policy. Review those terms before sending a query.
Links to Other Websites
Links may lead to clerk offices, Texas court portals, legal-aid resources, or outside search providers. Once a visitor follows one, the destination's privacy policy controls. Review it before providing personal information.
Advertising providers may use their own systems to measure activity across websites and select ads. Presidio County Court Docket does not control that outside tracking.
Who Might See Your Data
Personal data is not sold. Limited information may be available to:
- Search partners that handle queries you run on our site
- Analytics services we use to track traffic and performance
- Ad networks that place ads on our pages
- Law enforcement or government bodies when a valid legal order requires it
How We Protect Your Data
Reasonable security practices are used to protect collected information. No internet service can guarantee perfect security, however, so the possibility of unauthorized access cannot be eliminated.
Users Under 18
The website is intended for adults and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone younger than 18. Notice that a minor supplied data will be reviewed so the information can be deleted promptly.
Your Data Rights
Rights can vary with the law that applies to a visitor. Texas Government Code § 552.0035 separates judicial access from the ordinary Public Information Act route. Court and judicial records may instead fall under Texas Rule of Judicial Administration 12, while Rule 21c addresses sensitive data in court filings. These rules govern official records, not visitor analytics held here. For information held by this website, a visitor may:
- Ask for a copy of what we have on file about you
- Have us fix information that is wrong
- Request that we erase your data
- Opt out of certain kinds of data processing
Updates to This Policy
This policy may be revised as practices or legal duties change. The new text and effective date will be posted here, so visitors may review the current version.
