Why We Built This Site
Texas court access is broad, but Presidio County has no single clerk or search screen for every case. The District Clerk keeps records for the 394th District Court, while the County Clerk, two justice courts, and the Marfa and Presidio municipal courts hold other files. The statewide re:SearchTX system and the vendor-hosted iDocket service may help with research, yet coverage and access must still be checked. We organize the official contacts, portal limits, and request paths so readers can start with the court that actually keeps the record.
What You Will Find Here
- Docket details: how Presidio County criminal court dockets and civil court dockets differ
- Case research: how to use the docket search routes available for a name or cause number
- Dates and settings: how to read the court schedule and verify a hearing with the proper office
- Official copies: where to request court case records from the clerk that holds the file
What We Cannot Do
This is a privately run reference site, not part of a Texas court, clerk's office, or government agency. Those limits matter:
- We cannot issue a certified docket, order, or case document
- We cannot alter, seal, remove, or correct a docket entry
- We cannot set, reset, or confirm a hearing for a court
- We cannot retrieve an official case file on a visitor's behalf
- We cannot provide legal advice about a particular matter
- We cannot promise that a fee, contact detail, or setting has not changed
An official or certified record must come from the clerk or court that maintains the original Presidio County case file.
Search Partners
Outside providers power search boxes that appear on some pages. Each provider controls its service, prices, records, and results. A paid signup reached through one of those tools may produce a referral fee that supports the site. We do not set those charges or determine which records a provider returns.
